I (juli) had the privilege of taking the first Global Nomads to Africa a few weeks ago. I had a meeting scheduled with our Ivory Coast clinic staff in January. Because of the political situation in Ivory Coast, we decided to hold the meeting in Burkina Faso (a neighboring country). We had a marvelous time and got a lot accomplished- but that's not what THIS blog is about is it? THIS blog is about the awesome t-shirts and bags that the Global Nomads are selling to earn money for their youth trip to Ivory Coast in July of 2011 (which may be put off to 2012 because of the political situation). While I was in Burkina I was able to bring some tshirts to our friends who are missionaries there. They had ordered some and since I was headed their way I thought I'd just deliver them in person and save on postage. We think they look fantastic on Christina and David and Andy...what do you think?! World changers wearing world changing t-shirts. What a concept!
